The fight against autism has gained a new champion in Hampton Roads.

Agronomic Lawn Management will be donating a percentage of its revenue from all new business to the fight against this enigmatic disease, which has such a devastating effect, particularly on young children.

“My nephew, Colin, has been diagnosed with autism,” Craig Zeigler, owner of ALM, shares. “I want to help in any way I can.”

Along with Craig’s business partner and brother, Chris Zeigler, and the entire crew of lawn management professionals, ALM gives back to its community by supporting worthy charities.

Craig’s passion for the earth goes back to his years as a boy on his grandparents’ dairy farm in rural Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He fell in love with working with the land and  with his hands. He pursued that passion at North Carolina State University and Penn State University, ultimately receiving a degree in Turfgrass Management. He is also a licensed pesticide applicator.

Agronomics, the science of crop or turf production and soil management, is the heartbeat of his business.

“Our name really suits the type of services we deliver,” Craig assures. “We offer expert knowledge in the field of soil and turf fertility. We are specialists exclusively in weed control and fertilization. Simply put, we don’t mow your lawn — we ensure its health and beauty.”

“There’s a big difference between lawn care and lawn management,” Chris explains, “and it’s management that we emphasize.”

Craig founded this business on one guiding principle: “We do one thing only, and we do it very well. We want our customers to have the greenest and healthiest lawns in their neighborhood.”

Many customers using a professional lawn management service are quite anxious to see instant results.

“On some lawns, results can be seen in as little as one week,” Chris points out, “but in most cases, lawns that have not been properly maintained for while will require a much more intensive program. In those instances, we advise our customers to have a little patience. The results will be well worth the wait. Their lawn will eventually be the envy of the neighborhood.”
 Because of the many years of experience he has garnered, Craig has the confidence to offer his customers a unique promise.
